1. Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the website www.ruffonatural.com and the purchase of products through the online store.

The website and webshop are operated by Hello The Nut BV, a company incorporated under the laws of Belgium, with its registered office at:

Hello The Nut BV operates under the trading name RUFFO Natural.

By accessing or using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Our webshop is powered by Shopify. All sales are concluded directly between you and Hello The Nut BV trading as RUFFO Natural.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may vary depending on screen settings;

  • Packaging may evolve over time;

  • Minor variations do not constitute defects.

All products are intended for use as described and for pets only.

4. Orders

An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase.

A binding contract is formed only once you receive an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of:

  • Obvious pricing errors;

  • Suspected fraud;

  • Product unavailability.

For professional (B2B) customers, additional provisions apply as described in Section 11.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices are expressed in EUR and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Payment must be completed before shipment.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before accepting an order.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.

Hello The Nut BV trading as RUFFO Natural shall not be liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities or events beyond its reasonable control.

Risk of loss transfers to the consumer upon delivery.

7. Returns & Right of Withdrawal (B2C – EU)

Consumers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable Belgian law.

However, this right does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.

As our products are hygiene-related pet care products, returns are only accepted if:

  • The product remains unopened;

  • The seal is intact;

  • The product is unused and in its original condition.

Opened, used or damaged products cannot be refunded.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective.

Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned goods.

8. Warranty & Product Liability

We are liable for lack of conformity in accordance with applicable Belgian and EU consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud;

  • Gross negligence;

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • Mandatory product liability under EU Directive 85/374/EEC;

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

To the extent permitted by law, Hello The Nut BV trading as RUFFO Natural shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Customers are responsible for using the products in accordance with the instructions provided. We shall not be liable for improper use.

9. Force Majeure

Hello The Nut BV trading as RUFFO Natural shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, transport interruptions or governmental measures.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including trademarks, logos, texts, graphics and designs, is the property of Hello The Nut BV or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

No content may be reproduced, distributed or exploited without prior written consent.

11. B2B – Professional Customers

The following provisions apply exclusively to professional customers:

  • Orders are not subject to the EU consumer right of withdrawal.

  • All invoices are payable according to the agreed payment terms.

  • Late payments automatically give rise to statutory interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.

  • Goods remain the property of Hello The Nut BV trading as RUFFO Natural until full payment has been received.

  • Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of West Flanders (Bruges division), Belgium.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, professional sales are governed by these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

For consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence remain applicable.

For professional customers, disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of West Flanders (Bruges division), Belgium.
